“The Deer Dance connects life and death, making it not merely a visual exhibition but a tribute to the connection between humans and the nature that surrounds them. The costume, inspired by the earthy tones and colors of Guatemalan nature, is reflected in the attire and textiles of the Maya people. The shades of the earth, skies, and plants are intertwined in the fabrics and details of the garments.
