Guadalajara (Mexic0)-born artist Victoria Villasana’s approach to textiles is both sensitive and intuitive. While honoring ancient traditions and the rich textile heritage of Mexico and beyond, she injects her own unique perspective. For her, textiles are not merely historical artifacts; they are a tactile and comforting element woven into our psyche – from the creations of ancient cultures to the blankets crafted by our grandmothers.
