In his abstract paintings, Eddin Cay (Sumpango, Guatemala) arranges organic forms in a fluid balance of color, light, and motion. Cay draws inspiration from diverse sources, including the art of Leonardo da Vinci and the Maya dressings. He values abstract art because it gives the viewer the freedom to interpret his work from their perspective.
