"My works are inspired by the geometry of textiles from the indigenous peoples of Guatemala, featuring designs, colors, textures, ancestral messages, and our Mayan culture.

I represent my work from my perspective, using icons, designs, and colors, since each icon has its own history and symbolic meaning, derived from our Mayan cosmology.

I paint, experiment, and play with shapes, lines, colors, and strokes, using my essence, my style, my being, with all my soul and originality.

I am an indigenous artist who paints what I see from the depths of my soul, always making our culture palpable through pictorial visual art."
