Description
In 1998 Marianne Kemp from The Netherlands travelled to Guatemala where she visited some weaving workshops. "The local textiles with original woven patterns in combination with the outspoken colors, I found a true inspiration! At that time I had not seen anything like that over here in Holland. Another inspiration was the sigth and experience of the raw nature. That is also the reason why I choose for this woven piece, not the vibrant colors but the more natural earthy tones; where you can feel the
wind, water, earth and air. The colors seem to float on
